It's that time of year again!
Pro Trader will host its fourth annual convention in Singapore from Friday June 27th to Monday 30th June. As usual this is a great opportunity for you to meet other members from all over Australasia. In between over-indulging in food and shopping, you are invited to attend intensive workshops to be held over 2 days.
This year we have again engaged the services of two consultant guest speakers, Chris Shea and Astrid Kennedy.
Back by popular demand is Chris Shea. Chris is a trader, educator and psychotherapist who specialises in coaching those who want to become and stay successful in financial markets. Chris holds a Bachelor of Education, Master of Science as well as a Diploma of Professional Counselling.
Astrid is a qualified Technical Analyst, full time Private Trader and Educator. She trades small cap equities and Foreign Currency markets, lectures in technical analysis for the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), is a regular speaker at ATAA meetings and was editor for the ATAA Journal for many years.
Chris will present on the vitally important psychological aspects of trading and Astrid will introduce us to Candle patterns and trading strategies.

This brief session is a must for newer Pro Trader members. We will bring you up to speed on the software and market terminology before the workshops proper commence. Bookings are essential for this session.

Saturday 28th June
9.00AM – 10.30AM Frank Watkins - Combined Session for all Delegates
In this session we will briefly review all aspects of Entry and Exit signals, Pattern Recognition, current market conditions and the development of individual trading plans. Following this session delegates will break into two smaller groups with choices of sessions.
11:00AM - 12:30PM Astrid Kennedy - Candle Power – every Trader should have some (part 1) or;
Candlestick charting has been around since the early 1700’s and is one of the simplest, yet most powerful tools available to traders. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the discipline of using candlesticks to understand the psychology of market action.
Chris Shea - The Psychology of Successful Trading
This session deals mainly with trading STRATEGY. The sessions are interactive and experiential. The goal is to make you more confident, poised and skillful so that you can reach out for consistent profitability in the future.

The recent market 'correction' offers an excellent opportunity to examine in detail what happened, how you behaved, the lessons learned and the opportunities presented by such a market movement.

This second session deals mainly with the psychology of trade EXECUTION.

Some thirteen Candlestick reversals will be explored and, with your involvement, will be used in trading simulations to identify potential turning points and other situations in the market.
Once Candlestick charting techniques are mastered, you can identify and respond to changing market conditions with greater confidence.

*Single attendees can split the couples rate if you contact us and we can arrange someone to share a room with you. That works out to only $1998 each.
For those wishing to arrange their own accommodation the cost of the workshops and dinners is $1810 this includes lunches and coffee breaks for the two days.
For workshops only the cost is $1500 includes lunches and coffee breaks.
*Please note, there will be no transfers from airport/hotel/airport. Singapore's taxi service is very efficient and there will be no problem getting a taxi to and from the airport anytime of the day.
So you can get two whole days of intensive training and interaction with other members including lunches, Satay Club dinner and a gala dinner boat cruise - like last year, we also intend to have some serious shopping, dining and fun!
